10/02/2007 ENGLAND winger Stewart Downing has dumped WAGS Boutique lover Michaela Henderson-Thynne. Upset Michaela, 21, said last night: "Unfortunately after four years together we have separated. But we are still friends." Middlesbrough star Stewart's agent said: "He told me the relationship has just run its course. The break up is amicable." University student Michaela, who wants to be a human rights lawyer, is currently starring in the flop ITV2 show featuring footballers' wives and girlfriends competing to run clothes shops. During the World Cup she drunkenly sang about her man. The couple, who met at a nightclub when Stewart, now 22, played in the reserves, rowed often. Baby shock for World Cup star
February 26, 2007 ENGLAND soccer ace Stewart Downing has a secret love child. The love rat fathered a daughter during a fling with nursery boss Donna Moloney — while still going out with WAGs Boutique girlfriend Michaela Henderson-Thynne. The millionaire World Cup winger only found out he was a dad after Donna knocked at the door of his parents’ home and introduced the child. A pal said: “He was stunned. He had not planned to be a father at this stage of his life. “It is too early to say whether he will take on a more active role as a dad. But he’s too nice a person simply to wash his hands over the situation.” Michaela, 21 — who split with the Middlesbrough star recently after a four-year romance — was said to be in “pieces” last night after hearing about the baby. A friend said: “She wasn’t sure if it was true and kept asking ‘Has he had a paternity test?’ and ‘Is this for real?’ “When she found out Stuart not only had a daughter but had cheated on her during their relationship she was distraught. She’s been in floods of tears. Everything she thought she knew about their romance was a lie.” Donna, who has named the three-month-old baby Francesca, runs a nursery on Teesside and drives a silver Merc. Downing, 22, and Donna, 27, both grew up in Middlesbrough. Donna tried and failed to get pregnant with her on-off boyfriend Ian Porritt, 38. And when she discovered she was expecting they knew the baby could not be Ian’s and they eventually split. A pal added: “Ian was OK about it at first but it was a different question when Francesca was actually born. After the break-up he moved back in with his parents.” Donna then took her daughter to see Downing’s parents Stewart and Kerry. A friend said: “She felt they had a right to know they had a grand-daughter. “Everyone was really shocked about it. His family obviously wanted to know for definite one way or another so tests were done which came back positive. Stewart and Donna had only slept with each other a couple of times a year ago.” Donna told a friend: “She is his flesh and blood and I just want him to be responsible and be a proper father to her.” Michaela told fellow WAGs about the split on an episode of the ITV series earlier this month. She said she was upset at the break-up, but that she and Downing were still friends. Downing’s agent Ian Elliott refused to deny that the star was the father.
